Overall review – An incredible 93% of the reviews for this Weber gas grill are very positive and accompanied by a 4 or 5 star rating. One reviewer says a few things that completely contrast with the other reviews, leading many to comment that it is likely a bogus review written by a competitor of the Weber company. Among other things, that reviewer says Weber’s customer service is bad and that he sent 3 emails with no response. The staff here decided to test that theory. We sent 8 emails from 8 different email addresses with 8 different problems or questions. All 8 were answered within 24 hours, which leads us to believe that this is indeed a bogus review that ought to be discounted if you are considering this gas grill. So let’s move on to the other reviews, most of which rated this unit very highly.
These Weber customers speak very highly of this gas grill. They say it is well-constructed of solid materials. There is nothing cheap on this model; it is built like a tank. It heats quickly (700 degrees F in less than 10 minutes) and cooks evenly. The cook box is heavy and solid and keeps the heat in where it belongs. The flavorizer bars really do what they say they will; everyone reports that food just tastes better when it is cooked on this gas grill. Those bars also stop flare-ups, even when cooking fatty foods. The cooking grates are heavy-duty stainless steel rods and they leave good grill marks. Most people say they wish they didn’t wait so long to finally buy a Weber. This model has both a side burner and a searing station; the reviews say both work quite well.
